ABOUT 6 MINUTE ESCAPE

6 Minute Escape is a musical duo (Mike Soloman & Michelle Carter) originally formed in 1997, now reunited to make some out-there musical art dreams of their youth come true!

The first project released was "A Meditative State" a four part series of ambient EPs that reflect the seasons. Combining solfeggio frequencies, crystal bowls, live cellos, violas, binaural tones and ethereal floating vocals to create a moving soundscape.

MEET MIKE & MICHELLE

The Artists

MIKE

Mike Soloman is a Vancouver based artist and musician specializing in figurative oil painting and multi-instrumental musical soundscapes.
His work has been exhibited throughout North America for the past 20 years with his most recent shows being in Antigua West Indies and Kimoto Gallery in Vancouver.

Soloman has been writing and recording music for several decades and blending it with film is a recent exploration.

His compositions share an ethereal, classically based feel with his visual art and is currently incorporating them together in an upcoming stop-motion film, "Circle" A short Film (Turbid lake Pictures) and several projects in the works with 6ME.

MICHELLE

A Canadian in Los Angeles. Classically trained singer, composer & sound designer. Contributing composer for Shutterstock & Premiumbeat . Co-creator of 6 Minute Escape and a singer/songwriter for over 20 years. Founding co-host of Rockabyes & The Nowage podcast. Lover of music, mystical sounds and connector of the emotional quality of music and magic to the visual imagery of film.

Currently working on a dream project on the Burnt Toast & Overland Media Production "The Needle in the Valley"
